Hi, does anyone have suggestions for stretching nipple piercings? I've had mine done for about 4 years and the first couple of stretches went very easily. I currently have 4.5 millimetre rings and would like to go as far as 7mm ones. A local piercer recommended that I try lead weights for a few weeks before the next stretch. I've been doing this for over a year now and sometimes put as much as 60 ounces of lead on each nipple but the holes don't seem to be getting any wider.... I regularly do sea salt soaks and there has been no discharge from them since the last stretch.
A friend on the tribe said that he had stretched his with baby oil and using increasingly larger knitting needles. I don't really fancy going to a shop to buy these so I was hoping that someone could suggest other methods.
Cheers, Billy.

Wed, January 16, 2008 - 8:07 PMYou can use plumber's teflon tape on your existing jewelry to increase the size gradually. As you go larger, the jumps get bigger, so it helps to do the stretch gradually. You can get teflon tape at the hardware store or plumbing supply. -

And you can also get yourself a nice fancy infection to go with it. Piercers don't charge an arm and a leg to stretch piercings, and you shouldn't go up more than one gauge with each stretch. Do yourself a favor, pay the five dollars and let a professional do it.
